Dr. Ludolph is a lobbyist based in Washington DC where he supports and advises companies’ strategies for dealing with U.S. government or U.S. investment regimes.

For ten years he was Senior Vice President at the prestigious/leading international business advisory firm –Albright Stonebridge Group founded by Madelyn Albright and Sandy Berger (Clinton Advisers). He dealt with advocacy, market access issues, and investment projects. Responsible for direction and management of the firm’s Europe and Russia practice.

He was, previously, a career Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and senior executive, of the federal International Trade Administration., Washington DC. Advised U.S. companies and worked with major trade association regarding key market access issues and the development of commercial strategies for Western and Central Europe, Russia and Central Asia. His major international accomplishment was the precursor of the FTA between the European Union and the United States – “mutual recognition agreements” (MRAs). Developed, led, and successfully negotiated several groundbreaking transatlantic MRA agreements and other bilaterals covering tariffs, environment, standards and regulatory approvals, and personal data transfers. Handled multilateral trade issues covering three rounds of international trade negotiations.

Charles holds ann MBA and DBA, with honors, in International Business and Finance (George Washington University BA, Georgetown University).
